It has been a very busy week of whale and dolphin watching in Newport Beach aboard East Meets West Whale Watching – filled with diverse sightings, plentiful opportunities, and beautiful weather. ‘June Heat’ aboard East Meets West Excursions had excellent sightings throughout the month – Numerous humpback whales, lots of minke whales, a blue whale, and finished the month off with a cow/calf pair of brydes whales the past 2 days in a row. Dolphin trifecta yesterday morning with Risso’s dolphins, offshore bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins and 8-10 minke whales all in same general area, a humpback whale and cow/calf brydes whales. It’s been a unique month with diverse sightings.
