Captain Nicholas (Nick) Nagel, owner and operator of Captain Nick's East Meets West Whale and Dolphin Watching, has over 25 years of experience on the water to share with you. Having grown up on the East Coast, his offshore adventures have charted thousands of miles navigating the depths of the Mid Atlantic to the bountiful waters of the Pacific. His love for the ocean and fascination of boats, motivated him to earn his USCG Master Captain's credentials at the youngest possible age of 19. Despite a promising Ivy league education at Dartmouth, Captain Nick always returned to a life on the water.
With saltwater pumping through his veins, his resume of operating, managing, and outfitting boats of all sizes, has given him the knowledge, passion, and ambition to found Captain Nick's East Meets West Whale Watching.
Captain Nick wants your whale watching experience to be personal; and not only breathtaking but truly outstanding. In addition to making the ride as comfortable and direct as possible to make your whale watching experience the best it can be, Captain Nick is not only a Certified Naturalist but also requires all his captains to be Certified Naturalists as well.
